Grateful Dead Time Capsule

Home 8/15/69      "Woodstock Festival"

One of the "big ones that got away" from the Dead. They played under harrowing conditions - shocking instruments and a stage that literally sailed in the mud. The 3 day event was attended by about 300,000 peaceful people, and most of the other artists
delivered fine performances.

Venue:
Max Yasgur's Farm, Bethel, NY, 8/16-18 1969

Setlist:
St. Stephen >
Mama Tried >
